Pool Paving and Landscaping, Baldivis

This Baldivis backyard is now one complete, easy to use pool area. Light coloured pavers run right around the pool and spa and tie the pergola deck, the cabana daybed and the house together, so the whole space works as a single level entertaining area.

The block falls away from the house, so we used limestone retaining walls and wide limestone steps to handle the change in level. It makes the walk down from the house to the pool feel natural, and the walls give a clean edge to the planting beds.

Along the boundary we planted a row of screening plants that will grow up and soften the fence line. Synthetic turf fills the side of the yard, so that area stays green and tidy all year with no mowing.
